VANILLA ALMOND CUP CAKE

When you need "tastes like homemade" vanilla cupcakes, use this recipe. Top cupcakes, with  a creamy, buttery frosting that's sure to have everyone begging for more. For added appeal, garnish with mini flower icing

For the cupcakes:
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour / 1 1/3 cawan tepung
1/2 tsp. baking soda / 1/2 sdt baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder / 1/2 sdt baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt / 1/4 sdt garam
1 cup sugar / 1 cawan gula
1/4 cup butter, room temperature / 1/4 cawan mentega
1 large egg, at room temperature / 1 biji telur
1 tsp. vanilla / 1 sdt vanilla
1 tsp almond essence/ 1 sdt esen badam

1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature / 1 cawan buttermilk
1/2 cup almond slice / 1/2 cawan badam hiris

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 12 cup muffin tin with paper liners./ Panaskan oven 350 F dan sediakan acuan muffin 12 cawan
2.  In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt./ Dalam mangkuk asing campurkan semua bahan kering
3. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy and light in color. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and almond extracts until mixture is smooth. / Dalam electric mixer pukul mentega dan gula sehingga ringan dan gebu. Masukkan telur, vanila dan esen badam pukul sehingga lincin
4. Alternate adding the flour mixture and buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour./ Berselang seli masukkan tepung dan buttermilk sehingga habis
5. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups. Sprinkle some almond slice.  Bake for 18-20, until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean./ Bahagikan sama rata dan masukkan ke dalam acuan muffin. / Taburkan badam hiris.Bakar 18-20 minit atau sehingga kek masak.
6. Let cupcakes cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Cool completely on a wire rack before frosting./ Biarkan kek sejuk betul sebelum hias

For the Butter Cream Frosting:


1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon almond extract
Pinch salt
2 cups powdered sugar


1.  In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the butter, vanilla and almond extracts, and salt on low speed. Add the powdered sugar and mix only just smooth.
2.  Frost cupcakes at desired and top with flower icing, pressing down gently.

Satu lagi variasi vanilla cupcake, tetapi kali ini resipi dimasukkan sedikit esen badam dan hirisan badam. Untuk hiasanya saya gunakan butter cream. Sedap dan sesuai dibuat sebagai bahan hantaran.
